Our Story
Avery started sewing early on in elementary school. She began learning through trial and error, herself. She then took a 5th-grade sewing class, which led to sewing being one of her biggest creative outlets. She has made purses, dresses, rompers, surfboard bags, and all sorts of clothing. However, her passion has always been making bikinis. The thrill of hand-making something and wearing it in the world excited her. She always envisioned starting a business selling hand-sewn swimwear to share this excitement with others, hoping to inspire them to find their own passion for sewing. Avery has an abundance of liliko'i growing in her yard, so she thought it was a fitting name. Liliko'i means passion fruit, and she hopes you can find something that sparks passion in your day-to-day life.
